About 5 percent PE was randomly and uniformly polymerized (random copolymerization) in the molecular chain of PP by gas-phase copolymerization process. It has good impact resistance and long-term creep properties.

2, What is PVC pipe?
PVC is actually a vinyl polymer, and its material is an amorphous material. Additives, stabilizers and other additives are often used in PVC processing. It has non flammability, high strength, weather resistance and excellent geometric stability.
PVC has strong resistance to oxidants, reducing agents and strong acids. However, it can be corroded by concentrated oxidizing acids such as concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid, and it is not suitable for contact with aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons. The pipe made of this material is called PVC pipe.
3, Difference between PPR pipe and PVC pipe
First, the raw materials used in the production of PPR pipe and PVC pipe are different. PPR pipe is made of copolymerized polypropylene material, while PVC pipe is made of PVC material. Different production materials lead to different properties.
Second, due to different production materials, PPR pipe and PVC pipe products have different colors. PPR pipes made of polypropylene have bright appearance and better toughness. Pipes of other colors can be produced according to different color masterbatch; PVC pipes are mostly milky white with glossy surface, but there is no cross section and the material is relatively fragile.
Third, the wall thickness is different. Yajie PPR pipe is divided into four branch pipes and six branch pipes, with wall thickness of 2.3mm and 3.5mm respectively; The wall thickness of PVC pipe with diameter of 6mm is 2.0mm, and the wall thickness of PVC pipe with diameter of 8-10mm is 2.5mm.
Fourth, the production costs are different. Due to the material and wall thickness, the production cost and price of PPR pipe and PVC pipe are also different. Generally speaking, the price of PPR tube is relatively high.
Fifth, different uses. Due to material reasons, the sanitation and safety of PVC pipes are not as good as PPR pipes. In home decoration, Yajie PPR pipes are generally selected as water supply pipes, which can be used for cold and hot water pipes, while PVC pipes are often used for drainage pipes, and only cold water pipes can be used.
4, Which is better, PPR pipe or PVC pipe?
PPR tube is better. However, the scope of application is different and the characteristics are different. If it is only used for waterway reconstruction, cold water pipe, etc., PPR pipe must be better in terms of quality. But there is one thing we should pay attention to. There are many PPR tubes that say: do not install it openly. It can't be installed in the open here. It means that it is installed outdoors under the sunshine. If the PPR pipe is installed outdoors, it must be replaced once every two years, otherwise it will breed bacteria and greatly shorten the service life. Then it's not as good as PVC.
